Star Wars has been adding great depth to the universe for years. We will attempt to give the best chronological viewing order.

Please note that this is not the best viewing order for viewers that have never experienced the original trilogy films as one of the great plot twists of film history is entirely ruined. If you are new to the series, please watch Episodes 4, 5, and 6 first.

The following order allows us to experience the story and growth of the characters as it happens. This order is far more linear than some, like Star Trek, and is far easier to follow, with the lone exception of The Clone Wars series. This series is told in arcs that travel back and forth in the timeline. Fortunately for us, an official timeline exists on the official Star Wars website. For Clone Wars, we have used this timeline.
